Options

• Beep tone

  The switch on the end controls the beep tone. Push the switch down to enable the beep tone. Push the switch up to disable the beep tone. The factory default position is on, or down.

  

• Beep tone level

  The jumper on the end controls the beep tone level. Three positions are possible: left, right, & removed.

  1. Remove the jumper for 8400 series sets. This is the lowest beep tone level.
  2. Install the jumper in the left (A) position for 6400 sets.
  3. If the beep tone level is high, move the jumper to the right (B) position.

     

Connection

The BTG-10 connects in series with the voice terminal handset. Unplug the handset cord from the set and insert it into the modular handset jack of the BTG-10. Connect the BTG-10 cord with plug to the handset jack of the set. The adhesive strips on the BTG-10 may be used for mounting.

Limitations

The BTG-10 will not generate beep tones when using the speaker phone.
