Your Callmaster III console features a CM1603MJ recorder interface module. This module provides an analog audio output of voice communications for recording purposes. The CM1603MJ produces a "beep tone" to remind the callers that the line is being recorded.
This module is factory installed inside the Callmaster III console, requiring no user installation. The user is responsible for providing the recording equipment, and for any cabling between the recorder and the voice terminal as required by the recorder.
