Applications

Originally designed for visitor information centers, the HRS90 may be used in any situation where remote status indicators and easy call in features would enhance customer awareness and accessibility.

Description

The HRS90 Hotel Reservation System consists of:

  1. 3 display panels with total space for 90 hotel names and No Vacancy led indicators.
  2. A processor to place and receive calls, store passwords, telephone numbers, and vacancy status.
  3. A single line touch tone telephone.

A personal computer with a terminal emulation program is required to program and maintain the HRS90 system. An un-interruptible power supply is recommended. The single line touch tone telephone must be customer provided.

The display panels provide a visual indication of vacancy status for each Hotel listed. Each hotel may access the HRS90 by telephone and set their own vacancy status.

Each status indicator has a 2 digit code. Dialing the code with the telephone connected to the HRS90 connects the user to the corresponding hotel. A call counter is associated with each hotel. From a personal computer, the number of calls to each hotel may be checked.

Phone numbers and passwords for each hotel are entered by computer. They may be entered individually on screen, or an entire list can by uploaded to the HRS90.
