Operation

Once power is connected, the active LED on the front of the M1050K will blink continuously. During an off-hook condition, the active LED will stay on without blinking. Two push buttons are located on top of the M1050K. A LED in each button indicates if the switch is on.

M1050K off hook and mike mute keys Pressing the "OFF HOOK" switch answers the call on the voice terminal. (Similar to lifting the handset.) Pressing the switch again turns off the adapter and disconnects the transmit and receive to the adapter, quivalent of going on-hook.

The second switch is the "MUTE" switch. This switch mutes the 4 wire transmitter and handset transmit for privacy during a call. This is a momentary switch, it will mute only as long as it is held down.
