The MI-30 is factory installed. The analog audio output (recorder audio) has 2 outputs:

To record from a headset, the user must program the lower right feature button for headset status. Refer to Avaya’s user’s guide for the MLX set, or check with your administrator if you are not familiar with programming feature buttons.
The beep tone is set by a toggle switch accessed through a hole on the back of the voice terminal. Locate the access hole on the upper left corner on the back of the set. On the MLX-28D, you must remove the outer and inner pedestals. Refer to the following diagrams and set the beep tone off or on. The default position is "on".
