Avaya MLX100

Operation

The following MLX options are required for proper operation.

The MLX-100 works with handset or headset use. If the handset is taken off hook the MLX-100 activates the handset audio only. When the set is busy while in the headset mode, the MLX-100 activates the headset jack and the 4-wire jack. In this mode, the handset must be on hook.
Recorder audio with optional beep tone and a busy closure is provided with either handset or headset mode.

Connections

The MLX-100 is equipped with the following jacks:

Beep tone

The beep tone generator produces a 200ms 1400hz tone every 15 seconds. The tone is audible to both parties. It can be turned on or off with the beep switch.
