General

The SBC7180 processor card is used to remotely indicate alarms by sending touch tones over existing telephone facilities. Each card has 16 inputs for alarms and 16 outputs for indicators.

The input and output alarms are wired to the 56 pin connector that the card plugs into. The telephone line connects to the front via a 4 pin modular connector. The RS-232 and printer connectors are used in special applications.

The green led indicator blinks to indicate that the processor is running. If this indicator is not blinking then verify the 24vdc power input.

The amber led indicator is used to display telephone line loop current. It will be on whenever the telephone line is seized.
