General

The SBM100 station busy module can monitor switch hook logic, speakerphone activity, and the auxiliary jack. It provides a loop closure output.

Output closure

The location of the output closure depends on the type of set the SBM100 is installed into. Refer to the following list for the set type and location.

Installation

No user installation is required for the SBM100, it is factory installed within the telephone set.

• Closure connection

  Connect the external equipment to the dedicated cable or the closure pair in the line jack.

Programming

• 4424 sets

  4424 sets require the "autodial inside" feature to be programmed. You must use the top feature button in the second column.

• MLX sets

  MLX sets require the "autodial inside" feature to be programmed on the upper right feature button.

• 6416D+ sets

  6416D+ and 6416D+M sets require the "busy-ind" feature to be programmed on the lower right feature button(The "EXT" number is the set's extension).
