General
The WMB-8434 package contains all the necessary hardware to mount the 8434 console securely to a wall or partition. The WMB-8434 is in 2 parts; the base, which attaches to the wall, and the arm, which attaches to the console. The arm then slides into the base, secured in place by a plunger pin.
The WMB-8434 is available in black or misty cream to compliment both consoles.
Installation
- Base
- Select a location for the console and bracket. Allow 6 inches clearance above the console so it may slide in place when mounted.

- Pull the plunger pin out and twist it counterclockwise. This locks the pin in the out or hands-free position.
- Slide the arm out of the base.
- Use the base as a template and mark the 4 mounting holes.
- Drill 4 #27 holes at the marked locations.
- Insert the 4 combination head screws (supplied) in the holes, and tighten about 3/4 of the way.
- Place the base on the 4 screws. Tighten the screws firmly.
- Arm
- Turn the 8434 console over and remove the 4 rubber feet. You may wish to save the feet if you move the console later.
- Place the arm on top of the console (with the big "tab" pointing up) and align the four holes in the arm with the holes for the feet. The group of cutouts on the arm should be on the left.
- Four snap rivets hold the arm on the console. Place a snap rivet in one of the corner holes and press it firmly into the console. Be sure to support the console well, and avoid pressing on the buttons or display. Insert the remaining 3 snap rivets, and be sure to seat all of them fully into place.
- Cables
- Connect the line cord to the console at this time. If you are using other auxiliary devices that connect to the console, connect those cables to the console now.
- A slot in the arm allows access to the wire mold in the base of the console, and an additional cable clip is on the base. Using them keeps the cables close to the wall.
- Console
- Turn the console over and slide the tab on the arm into the slot on the base.
- Twist the plunger pin on the base clockwise to release it.
- The plunger should seat fully into the arm, locking it in place.
