Originally designed for 911 and other secure entry areas, the HJB-110 includes a noiseless duress key. The duress key may be used to trigger silent alarms, door entry locks, or automate other attendant duties.

The HJB-110 includes a footswitch input for handsfree push to talk headset operation. When connected, the footswitch interrupts the transmit tip path of both headset jacks until it is pressed.
For compatibility, an internal switch swaps the transmit and receive pairs allowing the HJB-110 to work with almost any equipment. The factory default position is the NORMAL or A position.
An internal header is provided and may be used for additional connections to the transmit and receive pairs or the duress key.
